What is the First Ashra of Ramadan?

The blessed month of Ramadan is divided into three Ashras, each consisting of ten days. The First Ashra of Ramadan is known as the Ashra of Mercy (Rahmat). It is a time when Muslims seek Allah’s mercy, engage in extra prayers, and strive for spiritual purification.

The importance of the first Ashra lies in the opportunity to draw closer to Allah through fasting, Taraweeh prayer, Quran recitation, and heartfelt supplications (Duas).
