What is Iman-e-Mujmal?
Iman-e-Mujmal is a concise declaration of faith in Islam. It expresses a believer’s unconditional trust and belief in Allah and all His attributes without questioning them. The term Mujmal means brief or summary, as this statement summarizes the essence of Iman (faith).
The Special Supplication of Faith

In Arabic
اٰمَنْتُ بِاللہِ کَمَا ھُوَ بِاَسْمَآئِہٖ وَصِفَاتِہٖ وَقَبِلْتُ جَمِیْعَ اَحْکَامِہٖ اِقْرَارٌم بِاللِّسَانِ وَتَصْدِیْقٌ بِالْقَلْبِ
In Roman English
“Āmantu billāhi kamā huwa bi-asmā’ihi wa sifātihi wa qabiltu jamī’a aḥkāmihi ikrāran bil-lisāni wa taṣdīqan bil-qalbi.”
Translation
“I believe in Allah as He is, with all His names and attributes, and I accept all His commands verbally and wholeheartedly.”
When to Recite Iman-e-Mujmal?

- In personal supplications to strengthen belief in Allah’s wisdom.
