The third Ashra of Ramadan consists of the last ten days (21st–30th Ramadan) and is known as Ashra-e-Nijat (the Ashra of Salvation from Hellfire). These final days of Ramadan hold immense significance as they include Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power), which is better than a thousand months. Muslims dedicate themselves to worship, intense supplications, and seeking protection from Hellfire.
During the final Ashra, believers engage in Tafakkur (deep reflection), I’tikaf (spiritual retreat), and increased prayers for forgiveness and salvation. Reciting the dua of the third Ashra is a way to seek refuge from Hellfire and secure Allah’s mercy.
